Goodbye Green Machine

This week, Pat brought his beloved car, The Green Machine, to the garage. There he found out that the car is really NOT worth fixing (which was not really much of a surprise). So, Pat made the decision to donate the car. We cleaned it out Thursday night, which was super silly, as Pat has stored many items in his car (e.g., computer keyboard, dishes, silverware, golf clubs, ice skates, roller blades, fishing pole, tennis racket) and his car had recently flooded and was filled with mold. Either way, we removed everything and tossed lots... and in the process found ourselves feeling a bit blue and rather reflective. After all, this was the car that Pat bought to move to Milwaukee, and we've had tons fun times with The Green Machine. Dare I say that it may be somewhat symbolic as we are looking to begin something new?? Nah.... but I do know that for now we are sharing the Vibe, getting lots of use out of our bikes, and loving it!
