Pablo's weekend Closing the cab

Hey Guys!

This weekend Dan, Nick myself and Dee went up to the cabin to close it up for the winter. As usual, the young bucks had to go in the water to take the docks and boat lifts out. This was all fine and dandy until we realized that the dock installed on Lake Emma had to come out too.

Problem 1: The dock on Emma was the old, clunk, rusty and heavy dock that had no business being in the water.

Problem 2: Lake Emma is mucky and swamp like with tons of garbage tossed into it (We stepped on metal poles, etc..)

Problem 3: It was cold in the water, but even colder being knee deep in the partially frozen muck that makes moving a dock totally more difficult.

Solution: We whinnied for an hour until the dock came out, then promptly warmed up with epic sandwiches and soup from Annie followed by hot tubbin!

On the by and by, Carl and Meg had their first baby, Christopher Fritz this past week. It is strange to have a new person in the family but I can already tell Fritz is the most liked and handsome. If I had little hands and feet, would people fawn over me too? Maybe Dan would just call me T rex arms. Seriously though, he is adorable and sleeps whenever I or anyone else holds him. Way to go Fritz!!
